Groom's Name:       Hall Nathaniel
Groom's Residence:       So Portland, ME
Bride's Name:       Mcdonald Clara M
Bride's Residence:       Portland, ME
Marriage Date:       22 Mar 1905

On the 1900 census, there is an Indiana born Nathaniel Hall, b. Aug 1876, living at Fort Preble, Cumberland Co., Maine. Battery E, 7th Regiment, Artillery. Fort Preble is located in South Portland, where Nathaniel and Clara were married and were living on the 1910 census.

Anyhow, maybe this will get you a little farther along. Maybe the marriage record will contain more info, or

Also Nathaniel was still living and listed on the 1913 Portland census as a Driller.

I've done some research in Maine in the various town halls, and county courthouses. They had something in one of those called Orphan's Court records. Once and a while those were open for viewing.

Clara was living with her father and brothers in 1900, and had an older brother born before 1880, so you should be able to locate her mother on that census.

I'm not related that I know to this Hall, but did have a few Maine born Nathaniel Hall's in my ancestry.
