Hello Teresa,
Eli Hall was my 3rd ggrandfather and his father, John, would be my 4th. Proof for John can be found on the marriage record of Eli to Mary Scarberry in 1856 Wise County, VA. This was a second marriage. His first was to Lydia Dotson in Scott County, VA (my line). I'd love to talk more, just e-mail me. We may have talked before, just can't remember.
