1870 census Brunswick, Glynn, Georgia Flint, Benjamin, 48,carpenter, ME Ella, 17, CT ??? B, 15, CT Ellen, 11, NY 1860 census Jersey City, Hudson, New Jersey Flint, Benjamin, 40, tribune office, ME Elizabeth, 30, ME Fred, 10, ME Emma, 7, CT John B, 5, CT Elizabeth, 4, CT 1850 census Damariscotta, Lincoln, ME Flint, Benjamine E, 32, Farmer, ME Elizabeth L, 23, ME Frederick, 3 or 8 mo, ME Damariscotta formed in 1847 from Bristol and Nobleboro In 1840 Nobleboro had a number of Hall and Flint families. I would suggest that you visit your local LDS family history center. There you can order an view the film (#11575) of Nobleboro town records you will see in their catalog at http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=titledetails&titleno=336492&disp=Town+and+vital+records%2C+1788%2D1891%20%20&columns=*,0,0 (copy above and paste into your browser's address box) With luck you will find a Hall family birth record, and/or the marriage record. My Hall ancestors also from Maine, but I don't think connected to this family. In Maine, you need to search town(ship) by town to find old vital records. Based on census, Nobleboro seems to be the best bet for you. Use the following address to locate a LDS Family History Center near you. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp You don't have to be LDS to use their center. Very friendly folks at the one I've used. If you wear glasses, non bifocal glasses that can read at computer screen distance are a real plus in looking through old town record microfilms. Film rental is just a few bucks. They will have to order it in, and it should arrive at their center in a week or so. The records on the film probably won't be indexed, and you will have to page through each page. I've found family listings mixed right in with township minutes, and dog registrations. Good Luck Notify Administrator about this message?
