More details are needed. Do you know anything of the Hall-Couch descendants, including birth year and places? Generally searches begin with known people and work backwards. There are too many Wm and Elizabeth Hall couples to start with. With luck, the daughter who became E W Couch will be with her parents in 1850. But first we need to locate her as Mrs Couch on a later census to pin down her date and state of birth. If she can be found on an 1880 or later census, we will also learn her parents states of birth, which will help to locate the Hall familiy on the 1850 census.
