No, I'm not related to these Halls. I just watch the Hall boards and do lookups there as a hobby.Once in a while I will run across someone related, but not to often. My Hall line comes from Maine to Iowa.
I would agree that the Rosanna mentioned in Crit's draft registration is likely Daisy's mother.I just can't find Crit on the 1910 census to verify this.1910 index just gives head of household, so if he is living with someone else he doesn't show up in the index.Oh... just found him, indexed as Crit Tittle.Lets see what this shows.
1910 census Painter Harve, Floyd, Kentucky
Little, Crit, head, 28, m. once, 9yrs, KY KY KY, farmer
Parit, wife, 28, m. once, 9yrs, 4 of 5 children living, KY KY KY farm laborer
Milburn, 8, son, KY KY KY farm laborer
Lazana, 7, dau, KY KY KY farm laborer
Landy, 3, son, KY KY KY
Darsa, 1 & 6 mo, dau, KY KY KY
Parit must be Rosanna, because they were married for 9 years which would include the time of the draft registration.I wonder if Darsa is Daisy?
On the 1900 census John W Hall is the son of John Hall.In the Bad John Hall story, how old was the Bad John?Is he the John Hall b. 1850, or John W Hall, b. 1881?The 1930 census shows Daisy as the wife of John William Hall, then age 47.If Bad John was the one born in 1850, then Daisy did marry his son.
