As I would love to have info on the elmira prison, and you are right, really not something you would see on the history channel.
I copied down your address and am going to send you what I have on him. I have a few pictures of him and also one of his 2nd wife which is my g-grandmother. I have pictures of his his and her headstones also and some pictures of their children, grandchildren and some of the great grandchildren as well. He is very big in our family. I wish I had been given the chance to meet him. But I have heard alot of things about him. He used to run tabacco up the James right from goochland to richmond. He loved the water as so did my father.
I'll get you copied and all out as fast as I can.
Please let me know when you get it completed as I would really love to purchase a copy when your book is done.
Take Care,
Anna Hall
