Halls, Take Note!
Does anyone have a May F. Hall, born in Aug of 1872 anywhere in their family history as either a Daughter, Sister, or a Wife to a Hall??
I have a May F. Hall in my family tree who was my great-grandmother and I have no lineage information on her at all.
All I know is that she died in Claremont, NH sometime in the 1950's or even early 60's.
The 1900 Census of Claremont, Sullivan County, NH have herand children listed as living in the household of BEDELL, William W., as follows:
HALL, May F., Lodger, W,F, Aug 1872, 27, Married 9 years, NH,NH,NH, Housekeeper
HALL, Ruth M., Lodger, W,F, Oct 1892, 7, VT,VT,NH
HALL, Eva G., Lodger, W,F, Oct 1896, 3, NH,VT,NH

The 1910 Census of Claremont Twp, Sullivan County, NH have her and children still living in the BEDELL, William W., household and listed as follows:
HALL, May, Lodger, F,W, 38, Divorced, NH,NH,NH, Housekeeper, Mother of 4, 3 still living
HALL, Eva G.(?), Lodger, F,W, 13, Single, NH,NH,NH
HALL, Vergie E., Lodger,F,W, 9, Single, NH,NH,NH
HALL, Vera M., Lodger, F,W, 6, Single, NH,NH,NH

The interesting twist to this information is that the children, Eva, Vergie, Vera and William, who was born after the 1910 Census, all went by the name Bedell. My Granmother's, Virginia E. (Vergie), birth certificate has her name as Verginia E. Bedell, born Feb 8, 1901 in Claremont, NH, and lists her mother as May F. Hall with no place of birth listed for May F. Hall, although she is listed as a Housewife.Virginia's father, William W. Bedell is listed as being born in Granville, NY, residing in Claremont, NH as a Laborer.
I am at a dead end with May F. Hall!!Is she in your family tree any where at all???
