Thanks for that information i was sort of hoping that it would relate to that village - I only live a few miles away.

I notice from looking around that there is mention of a somebody Halford to do with Warwick Castle.

I am hoping that I will eventually trace the name back to this area as I can get easy access to all the local information.

I have had other theories sent to me - will be interesting to find out more of your information. Do you have anything you can send on to me?
