Although now a Howarth, I am descended from Jacob Hales who was born in East Malling, Kent in 1667. My line is as follows:

You mention that you'd like to share information with other Hales family members. I've actually benefited hugely from connecting together with other Hales family members and sharing my research with them, and vice versa.
And this gave me an idea......so I've set up a small website called www.sharemyhistory.com where I'm uploading all of my Hales family research so anyone who is interested (especially distant cousins) can benefit from my work. My hope is that if people find the material useful, they will send me their own Hales information and I can upload that onto the www.sharemyhistory.com site for us all to share.
Over time, I hope that the site will become a treasure-trove of information on the Hales family with everyone posting their research, family trees, scanned documents, family legends, photos, personal histories etc etc. And most importantly, it will enable all of us to connect with distant Hales cousins across the world.
Take a look at the site and let me know what you think.
And whatever information you send to me (my email address is chrishowarth100@hotmail.com) on your branch of the Hales family, I'll upload onto the site for all Hales cousins to share.
