Oh. there are probably several organizations that keep track of the Hales.The Hale side of our family is from England, and they took the same route as other immigrants:
Probably landed in Pennsylvania, worked to pay the cost of their voyage, and were then free to begin their own families.
Trouble is that the Census taking began in 1790, and some records were destroyed in said fire.
Another one I have zero trust in is that Latter Day Saint genealogy.They've made mistakes on my family, so we tend to ignore the stuff they post.
Anyway, my guess is that there are some records somewhere, it's a matter of finding a volunteer in that state to obtain physical copies of any documents.
