Bristol, VA – Danny B. Hale, 61, passed away on Friday,
April 10, 2009, at his residence.

He was born in WV, on May 24, 1947, to the late Bernard
and Ruby Catherine Dye Hale, and grew up in Swords Creek,
VA.

He was retired as a conductor with the Norfolk Southern
Railroad and owned D.B. Hale Split Rail Fencing. He was an
Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Dye and
Janet O'Hara.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Nininger Hale; two sons,
Justin William Nininger Hale and Cameron Daniel Nininger
Hale; his sister, Kathy Hale Smith and her husband, Andrew;
his four brothers, Roger S. Hale and his wife, Lisa,
Michael Ray Hale and his wife, Ruth, Jeff Hale and Jerry
Hale and his wife, Sandy; and several nieces, nephews,
grand nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.,
Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Oakley-Cook Funeral Home. The
funeral service will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Rufus
Hurt officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to
Rivers Way, 889 Stoney Hollow Road, Bluff City, TN 37618;
or to the Crumley House, 300 Urbana Road, Limestone, TN
37681.

Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and
viewed by visiting
