Hi again.
I don't think this Charles Hale is the correct one.
This one was born in Michigan per this 1870 census.
I traced him backwards today and found his father William H. Hale in Franklin County, Illinois in 1860 and in Ionia County, Michigan in 1850.
The P. W. age 50 stands for "Prince William " Hale which is how it is given in the 1850 census.

Actually I am hoping that someone out there can come up with the Death Certificate for Catherine which should name her parents and the same for Charles which again SHOULD list his.
Charles and his wife Stella were still alive in the 1930 census and living in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. He may have died there.

Hope this and my Largent Forum posting helps some.
Randy Largent
