I am looking for a Luke Hale born in Brandon, Rutland, Vermont on 22 July 1831 and his relatives. He was a shoemaker and also lived in Pa., Ohio, Indiana before finally moving to Wisconsin. He was in the 14th Regiment Infantry, Company D, in the Civil War. In the 1850 census, I have him living with a Mary Hale and William Hale but with a different family, Fanny (born around 1802) and Ira Benson (born around 1795). I have been unable to find any other connection. Thanks for your consideration.
