My tree reaches back to John E Hale b 1803 Cumberland Co, PA. Died Upper Sandusky OH, maybe 10/1879

He married Elizabeth Doner from Lancaster Co (Carlisle).

Is there any online resources that can help me reach further back?

I have uncertain info John E Hale's father was John Hale b Oct 6 1775 Cumberland Co, PA. Died 1856, OR 9-16-1854. Might be buried in Zion Lutheran Church, Newville.
