These records were copied from "Cemetery Records of Franklin County, Virginia" by the Franklin County Historical Society, Franklin County, Virginia. There is a number above each cemetery named, and the numbers are not the same. There is another cemetry called Hale Cemetery close by Wade Cemetery with the same names and dates I posted last time--not in the exact same order but dates match. Out of 65 cemeteries shown on a map of Franklin Co., VA, I copied Hale names in 30 cemeteries. There seems to be at least one cemetery in each township. John Hale, brother of my Nicholas Haile( who settled in Bedford Co., VA), homesteaded on or by Bent Mountain (Blue Ridge Mountains). I hope some of these Hales in the Franklin Co. cemeteries are John's descendants. Iris Notify Administrator about this message?
