If you mean Reuben Hail(1802TN),all I know is that he was born in Tennessee and moved to Missouri in the 1830s and movved to California in the 1850s.He owned land in MO and CA and maybe in TN.He was a justice of the peace in Greene County, MO and Merced County, CA.I assume that he was a farmer.Reuben left several adult children in MO and took several with him to CA.He was married 4 times. The first was Lucy Weaver. He probably maried her about 1820 in TN.She died.He then married Lucy's sister who was a widow, Martha Weaver Taylor. She died.He then married(in 1852) Mary Ann Inman, who was only 19 years old when he was 50.They had twins.Mary Ann died a year later.Reuben then married another women in CA named Eliza Phillips.Reuben then died in 1872.He is buried in Plainsburg Cemetery in Mariposa County, CA.That is about all that I know.I hope that you know more than I do about him! Thanks for staying in touch with me.brian
