my mother was born in 1951 in Lompoc,California. My mothers'father, William Edwin Larsen, was married Betty Louise Woodfin-Larsen, my grandmother. (married in 1949) Grandpa was married once before to a Marian, last name not known, they met at Santa Barbara College, they were married in or around 1940. Possibly in South Pasadena or San Marino, California. My grandfather was drafted into WWII in 1942 at the age of 24 and reported to Fort Benning, Georgia. They had one son, Richard Albert, who was born in San Marino or Fort Benning in 1942-1943. Marian divorced my grandfather in 1946 or 1947. She took Richard with her. She then got remarried to a Richard Halderman or Haldeman, im not sure of the spelling. My grandfather gave up all parental rights and never saw his son again. We beleive his name would be Richard Albert Halderman/Haldeman. If anyone has any information at all please contact us at once. Thank-you
