Hallbrook is not my direct line but thought I would post this obit in case others are working on this line.
I am interested in Elizabeth's husband William "Buck" C. McCallister who may have been a cousin to my great-grandfather Willam H. McCalister/McAlister who married Harriet Huggins. The McCalister's were from Tennessee and removed to Franklin County, Arkansas.

Elizabeth McCalister

Elizabeth Jane Hallbrook was born in Nashville, Tenn., June 7, 1841, departed this life Feb. 27, 1927, at the age of 85 years.
In the year 1857, she was married to William C. McCalister who preceded her to the great beyond in the year of 1904.
To this union were born nine children, Jane who died in infancy; George, of Mulberry; Joe and Ide, of Barnes; Caldona Jones of Coweta, Okla.; Bob, of Charleston; Tom, of Isabel, Mo.; Julia, who preceded her mother to the great beyond; Wiley, of Mountain Top, who was at home.
Sister McCalister was a member of the Methodist church, a devoted wife and loving mother. There were four of her children with her during her sickness. She was so patient until the last, calling her children to the bedside and telling them to meet her in Heaven.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Johnson, of Barnes, Ark., to a host of friends and relatives at the home of Bro. and Sister Crouch. Interment was in the Lone Pine cemetery. A Friend.
