Cousin Suzanne,
It's exciting to hear from relatives I never knew I had. Thanks for the information.I was put in touch with another relative, Bob Speckman, who sent me his information from Philipp Hock who was born before 1629 in Germany, down to my father, born in 1903 in Iowa.I am thrilled to have it.I don't know if you may have contacted him.He has several messages on GenForum.
Yes, I knew Aunt Mabel, too.I went with my grandmother, her sister, to visit her in Wichita, KS, when I was 14 -- traveling by train from California.Mabel came out here a couple of times, too.She was living in the Masonic Home there.I wrote her for a long time. She used to send me an embroidered dish cloth each Christmas.I visited her daughter's family while there, too, but don't remember a lot about them.I'd be happy to send you the GED.com file I have from Levi down my line if you'd like and I'm sure if he hasn't already, Bob, would be happy to share his very large file (if I'm not mistaken it comes to about 650 pages on WordPad). If you have more to add I'd love to have it.Write me [email protected] [email protected].
So glad you contacted me.
Helen
