Hake Coat of Arms
I am interested in locating a qualtiy copy of a coat of arms my family believes is the most authentic for us.Per my relatives in Germany, originates from Germany first in records in the 1500s.A history of the area indicated name was spelled Hoiken, then Haken and in the 1600s became Hake.Records orginated in Upsprunge (now a suburb of Salskotten, 30 minutes from Paderborn).
The copy of the coat of arms I have now shows a helmeted head with armored arms coming together above it holding some sort of a device.Below it is a shield with four "spread bananas" (I am sure there is a name for this symbol but don't know what it is - haha).
Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
