I also am from Portsmouth. Now live in Richmond.

It was my great grandfather who owned the house at 801 Court Street. And my grandfather Julius Joseph Bilsioly, Jr. was born there.

Information we have is that Charles Bilisoly and his nephew Joseph Bilisoly were born at Corsica, France and arrived in Norfolk 1799 after a stay of some length in/at San Domingo. We have no information on their activities while at San Domingo.

Never heard of the name BOUBEE.

If you have information that links Boubee and Bilsioly in San Domingo[Haiti] would like to see what it is. We[Bilisoly] have nothing about this.

Regards,
Joe Pruden
