When traveling throughout the U.S. I check the phone books for the name Oge. I found one in Boston and the lady who answered the phone said she was from Haiti. It has been several years ago and I don't remember the lady's first name. Sorry. My family members came from Preuschdorf, Alsace Lorraine. Today there is one member of the family left in that area. The descendants are Edmund and Gaby Morell. Her mother is the only living Oge in Truchstersheim, which is about 30 Kilometers from Preuschdorf. My
family settled in the St. Louis area. Others came to the U.S. by way of Texas. A Reverend Louis Oge established a church in Castroville, Texas. I would be interested in where the Haitian Oges originated. Look for your response.
