Indeed, it is Joseph Plard Grandmaison and not Plante Grandmaison who was a notary in Mirebalais and the husband of Jeanne Francoise Masse. They were married in the parish church of Mirebalais. Madame Masse Plard Grandmaison died on her habitation on February 4, 1778. she was also a native of that parish.
