A possible connection with Haiti. A Sieur Francois de Pardieu, planter in the Artibonite region was married to demoiselle Marie Victoire Pauline Rossignol du Lagon, daughter of Pierre Paul Rossignol LAchicotte du LAgon et de dame Elisabeth Periss. They were parents of at least two children, Josephine de Pardieu et Francois de Pardieu.
