I have always been interested in doing a family tree but did not know where to start. So occassionally I'll search the net for Magloire's and luckily I found this site.
I was born in Dominica October 24, 1975 by parents Rose and Andrew Magloire. We moved to the US with my brother and sister about 1980.
Currently, I am a graduate of Howard University, (as of this past weekend) in Washington, D.C. and coincidentaly was introduce to Christan Magloire, from Haiti, a 1999 Medical School graduate of Howard.
I am interested in the studies of Physical Therapy and have been accepted to Howard University and Nova Southeastern University for their graduate program. I would like to attend Nova but it's dependent on financial aid, otherwise I will continue to study at Howard.
Outside of my studies I am an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc and National Council for Negro Women, Inc. The past two years I participated in the Army ROTC program which enabled me to attend Howard on scholarship.
During the summers I try to dedicate some of my free time to helping others in our community. Last summer I volunteered as a camp counselor for burn survivors ages 8 - 17. I plan to participate again this year as long as there are no class conflicts.
Once I receive my Master of Physical Therapy degree I plan to fulfill my commitment to the Army as a Second Lieutentant in the Medical Specialist Corp.
That's a brief background of myself, if there is any information I can provide for you please e-mail me at the above address.
