Hey Tania, My name is Emma I am updating info in my family tree and my family is also from haiti. My mothers maiden last name is smith and her fathers name is Moses Smith. We have paper work that shows that my grandfather Moses Smith is the son of a John Smith who is jamaican and was in haiti in the early 1920's- 30's. Please let me know if this helps, Cause we are trying to find out more information about our grandfathers side. Thank you
