Claire Eugenie Naar married Joseph Moraille. One of their 3 (?) children was Etienne Moraille, my Great-Grandfather. (My father's mother's father.) I am interested in Claire Eugenie Naar's mother Emerite Mallet, because according to my family lore, she is related to the de Malet family, whose most famous ancestor was General Claude Francois de Malet, who conspired against Napoleon and was shot by firing squad for that in 1812. Any information on the alleged Mallet/de Malet connection would be of interest to me. More directly, Claire's Great-Grandfather Pierre Nicolas Mallet, was an original signer of the Haitian Declaration of Independance in 1804.

Regards,
Carol Bonnefil
