I saw your post of 2001 re Blazio.I too have been trying to find info re this family.
My great grandmother was Celina Blazio Cosse. She was born 1878.Her father was a Pierre Blazio born 1811 and died about 1872.
In the 1900 census I found the following:
Pierre Blazio b.March 11,1811
Spouse:Eulalie Feb 1844
Children: Paul b.Jan 18,1877
Celina b.Dec 1878
Westerfield b. Sept 1882
Eulalie b.Aug 1884
This is all I have been able to find.Any records ie birth certificate have been lost.Have been told they were lost in a church fire in Plaquemine.
If you have found any other info re the family please let me know.

God bless
Karen
