I'm interested in starting my family tree.

Lauture from late 1700 or early 1800 from La Valee Jacmel in Haiti. I'm not sure of the dates but that's part of my research.

My grandmother Irelise Payen whose parents were Lomelie Dure and Alteno Payen. Irelise Payen married my grandfather Hilaire Lauture whose parents were Edmond Lauture and Lucina Labe. They're from La Valle, Jacmel in Haiti.

I would appreciate if you could provide me with any information such as birthdates, death, professions, sibling names and any other information in helping me with the Lauture's history. Given that Haiti was colonized by France is it possible that the Lauture name is originally from France.
