Eugène Roumillat + Olympe Kanapaux
Married same day in 1822 by Rev Dr. Gallagher [St. Marys Church, Charleston]
Witness for Eugene: Maternal uncle Maurice Guenveur
                     And friend Charles August Follin
Witness foe Olympe: Paternal uncle Jean Guillaume Kanapaux
                     And friend Jean Pezant
See Charleston Courier Friday November 1, 1822

Mother and Father of Ursule Follin were married August 16, 1806 ,b Rev Dr. Gallagher [St. Marys Church, Charleston] They were Firmin Follin and Victoire l’Herbert
Refugees from Môle St. Nicolas, St. Domingue (Haiti). Acadian deportees to South Carolina were settled after the treaty of 1763 in Môle St. Nicolas, so it would be useful to check Acadian records for prior ancestors).

The apparent names of the 10 children of Ursule Follin and Ulysse Roumillat were:
Victoire, Oscor?, Julius, Eugénie, John Leopold, Louis François, Adolphus, Elvire?, Pamela, and Valerie.

Pamela Roumillat (ninth of the 10 children) was the daughter of Ursule Follin and Ulysse Roumillat. She married M. Hilliard[sp?] Collins. Pamela Collins was the third of 7 Children. She married Arthur Picault Aimar, younger brother of my ggrandfather, Charles Pons Aimar, of Aimar’s drug store in Charleston.

I am not related to the Roumillat’s, but have more information if you see a connection anywhere.
