I promised to keep and eye out for the names Deschamps and Bachelier.Found the following:
1) Deschamps, J., inhabitant of Jeremie, St. Domingue, died in Kingston 10/7/1797 at 3:00 p.m., aged 27 years, native of Carcassonne in Languedoc [France], buried 10/8/1797 at 10:00 a.m. in the Kingston Catholic cemetery. Witness: Saintard (Kingston, Jamaica R.C. Funerals 1795-1798)
2) Emma Campbell, born February 27, 1842.
Baptism: December 29, 1844, St. Patricks Chapel, High Holborn St. by Edw. Murphy A.M. Godmother: Denise Deschamps.
3) J.B. Deschamps - born abt. 1798, Child: Eleonore Deschamps, born June 1823. Baptized: December 20, 1824, the Roman Catholic Church, Kingston, Jamaica.
4) Celie Deschamps, native of Mole St. Nicolas,St.Domingue, born ca. 1794 & Charles Fontaine had Elizabeth Fontaine, born February 15, 1819.
