I am looking for Catherine Neilson who came with her mother and other children to Baltimore from Ireland in 1798. I found a marriage between John Louis Roy La Reintree and Miss Catherine Neilson, both of Baltimore, married by Rev. Inglis in a list of marriages from Baltimore newspapers. The newspaper article appeared in December, 1811. I had a hard time finding anything else, but I found the marriage in two other places with different spellings. At the Family Search site his name is spelled "John L. Roy LA REINTRIE" and it says they were married 24 Dec, 1811 at the First Methodist Episcopal Church, Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland. At Genealogy.com he is listed as "John L. Roy Lareintrie, from the marriage index of Maryland, 1655-1850. This is a county court record, with the same date.

Catherine could be the sister of my GGG grandfather. Her mother was Jane (Crawford) Neilson and her father was Nathaniel Neilson. Jane and her children were from Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland. I found your message and thought it might be your ancestor.
