The Hairgrove family (William & his Wife Sarah (maiden name was Johnson) lived in Capt. Britain C. Ryder Township, Troup County, Georgia, up to and shortly after 1830.

1830 Census for Capt. Britain C. Ryder Township, Troup County, Georgia

The census lists
Males under 5.............Two(Columbus & Asa E.)
Males 5 and under 10......Three(George & 2 other brothers?)
Males 20 and under 30.....One (William, head of household)
Females 5 and under 10....One (?)
Females 20 and under 30...One (Sarah, wife of William)

Comment about the above census:
Names not given in Census, only head of household.
We do not know for certain that all 8 people are family members.
Total of 8 people (no slaves).
The family lived next to a Mr. Bailey Johnson (that family did have slaves). We do not know if this Bailey Johnson is related to William's Wife Sarah (Johnson)Hairgrove.
