This is GREAT Thank you for posting this information!
this is the first to find out about Mary A Hair Hartzog.
I'm now thinking this is the female child I couldn't place on the 1840 census.? Her name wasn't on any of the documents I got copies of.
would you be willing to share some on Mary A Hair. as in her birth, and Cem. she may be in. and on her children? And old photo's.??? (I have a few)

I have that George Hartzog remarried Ellen Reed ( sister to Hugh Reed) in 1850 George is living Barnwell with Ellen and 2 girls. Did he have any children by his second wife ?

On the property of David Hair that is also wonderful. Hugh Reed was the brother to Lavisa Hair (David's first wife)
And on William L Hair my Great grandfather D.F. Hair had his name as William Lemuel. He moved to Bienville parish La. and was Married in 1858 to Elizabeth Raborn. Their only daughter moved to Red River Co Tx. and then Ok.
James W. Hair also moved to Bienville parish and then moved to Drew Co Ark. he died in C.W. I have his will and track 2 of his sons and his daughter also.
I'm still working hard on the sons of James W., Samuel L. Joesph P. and my great grand father David Furman Hair.
If you would like to share please email me
Thank you again
a cousin
