Hi Leanna,
I am so excited to see information about my family and want to thank you for the reseach you've done. I don't know much to add to what you've discovered but will share what little I know.
My father, Glenn Elsworth Hainline, died on July 31, 1953 when I was 11 yrs. old. My mother, Betty Lou (Diehl) Hainline, did not give me much information on my father's family and the little I have is from my childhood memories.
I remember Aunt Mildred and Uncle Rudy Lindroth. They had one daughter, named Joan. I heard that she got married but do not know her married name.
Aunt Helen married a man named Roger Armstrong. To my knowledge they had one son who I believe they named Roger. Helen called me in the late 1960's to tell me that she was composing a genealogy book on the Hainline family but I never heard if she finished the book or not.
I knew my grandmothers name to be Anna and just recently learned that her husbands name was Harden.
Russell Hainline was married to a woman named Faye and was retired from the Air Force. They had five daughters. I don't recall the daughters names except for the last two, who were twins, named Yvette and Yvonne. Russell lived in Fremont, Calif. for a while (in the 1960's) but may have lived somewhere in Texas when he died.
Until reading your information, I had no idea of where my grandparents, or even my father, were born. I didn't know my granfathers (Harden) name until a few years ago when my sister found a baby book and his name was in the book.
I wish I had more information to share with you but most of my family has died and taken all the memories with them.
I thank you so much for posting what information you have on the internet. How exciting it is for me to see these familar names and to read a little history of the Hainline family.
