Note "My ancestors were from Mercer County, KY and Daviess Co., KY. Before that "The Old Dominion", VA.Don't know what county." Note was probably written by Levi, who bought the Bible in 1856 from J.W. Julean.
This entry was found in "Kentucky Ancestors". It was sent to the publisher by Mrs. Russell E. Bradford of Cooksville, Illinois 61730. She is listed as a Gr. Gr. Granddaughter. As of 1976, when the book was printed, the Bible was in the possession of Mrs. Elsie (Hale) Duncan of Saybrook, Illinois. She was born in 1902, so I doubt she is alive to contact.
