Dan, don't get your hopes up, but thot I'd post what little I have on Haig.

State of SC Columbia District in the Court of Equity William Washington and Martha his wife, Nathaniel Bowen and Margaret W. his wife, exhibited their bill of complaint against Harriet F. Flank, Elizabeth M. Blake, Mary ...14, June 1817, stating that John James Haig was in his life time and at the time of his death seized and possessed of a large real estate which by his last will & testament devised to the complaintants and defendants, who have continued to hold the same in undivided shares...ordered that it should be sold...335 acres on Beaver Creek, waters of Congaree...16 March 1821. [Source Bowen Genforum #204]. I'm searching Nathaniel Bowen and wife and came across this searching for his parents. Good luck!
