Hello I am a Hagood, Oscar Michael Hagood. My great grandfather is Oscar Hagood. I think that the last name was changed do to outlaws. It was Haygood. This is what my grand father Oscar Hagood Jr. told me. I know that there is Cherokee in the family somewhere. Please let me understand the reason more for the change. I would like to know more of my family history.
