William Hagood married Julia Jeter in Gadsden Co. Florida February 21,1850. William was born probably in Brunswick Co. Virginia January 15, 1809c and died January 26, 1857 in Gadsden Co.
Richard R. Hagood was born July 15,1814 and died October 7, 1884 in Marion Co. Florida. He married Susan Estelle Jeter July 13, 1847 in Gadsden Co.
Their Father and Mother are Richard Hagood born 1785c married Sally R. Smith in April 1808 in Brunswick Co. Virginia. Richard died about 1827 in Virginia, Sally and her children along with her brother John Smith migrated to Florida in 1828. John Smith was credited with beginning the tobacco industry in Florida.
Susan and Julia are the daughters of William Jeter and Eliza Battle.
