Sorry, I have told you almost all that I know on my William Hagin (Haggins and variants) I wish I had known about the Huggins spelling when I was in DC.My Baxters were from the Chestnut Lever Presbyterian Church in Lancaster Co., PA.My John Baxter d. 1769 at age of 90, he is buried along side his wf. Jean d. 1768 age 70.Back to the Haggons 1779 Meck. Co. NC Capt. Wm Haggons owned land next to Michael Legget. Wm.Hagins app. 1831 for Rev. Pension in Perry Co., Ky., enlisted from Rowan Co., NC sub. for John Ellis. Wm was born in Lancaster Co., PA.dec's 1833. Ch: names Daniel age 21; David age 19; Sally age 17, since the was he resided in SC; GA; and Ky. This Wm could be the son of my William d. 1790 and my Mary maiden name unk. Wm. Hagens W/W 1761 Anson Co.,NC Thomas Patton. Other witnesses wereWm. Linn and Wm.Brown.
