Hello Sarah,

I have a census of Logie Kirk[nr Dumyat] grave stones from around 1881. There are a few Haggart family members buried here who appear to be originally from Kenmore. There is a Isabella Haggart from lodging house Kenmore born 1829. Also is Duncan Haggart of Kenmore born 1843. Isabella Haggart married John Graham of Monteith[Perthshire]. Duncan Haggart being a male would carry the name Haggart.
Haggart is a name rarely found outside of Perthshire/ Tayside/ Angus/ Fife/ Clackmannanshire etc -
all in the east/ north east of Scotland. In each of these areas you'll probably find a close core[of Haggart] all in contact with one another today. I'm sure Elizabeth Haggart[Scotland to Canada] would have been from the Kenmore branch of Haggart mentioned above.. Haggart members still reside around Kenmore and so would probably be best for sourcing information. If you would like any help - let me know;
