I am starting to research Arthur Lee Haggard Jr. for my nephew Rick Lee (Haggard) Jacks. He was adopted by Arthur Lee Haggard Sr. after his parents died of tuberculosis. It is rumored that his parents were Joseph and Ada May Chatlos (Csatlos) Joseph was possibly Colville Indian and Ada May was possibly Choctaw.
Arthur Lee Haggard Jr. married my sister Virginia Gordy in about 1953 in North Hollywood, California. They had three children - Rick, Ginny and David. All three children were adopted by Virginia ( Ginger's) second husband, Alfred Jacks.
Your posting is from 2006 - so perhaps you have found much information already about the Haggard family. It is my understanding that Arthur Jr., or "Lee" as he was commonly known married MANY times and that there are many Haggard children out there - particularly in California and Washington.
