Rumor that Ora Haggard (1874) stated her father was Andrew Sutton. I found Elizabeth Haggard (1835) and Andrew Sutton (1836) on the 1870 census in his home in Pulaski county, Ky. His wife Martha had an infant listed. Elizabeth was listed as domestic help, as was a 13 y.o Sutton named Mary L (1857). Are there any old family rumors out there.
Was Elizabeth born a Haggard? If Haggard was her married name what was her maiden name and who were her parents. Does anyone know what happened to Andrew Sutton and his family? We may have Sutton DNA in our family? Thank you for any help that you may give us.
