I have read the Haggard genealogy with much interest, it states my Philip Hocket/Hoggatt who married Mary Glendenning was the son of Anthony Haggard. I had wondered for a long time if there was a connection, however have never found one. Just circumstantial evidence. My Philip became a Quaker in his later years, so there is much regarding he and his descendants in their records. One error I found in the second generation of Peter Hogards descendants was that Philip's wife Mary Glendenning states in the Quaker records that she was the daughter of David Glendenning of Edinburgh, Scotland and probably born there not Goochland, VA. Anyone have proof otherwise? Thanks.
