Hello all, I have copied the family records information from a Bible that belonged to Elizabeth Harmon Godwin Anderson. She was a daughter of John Harmon Anderson and Lee Ann Ridley Haggard. Nathan Haggard married Dicy Young , Dec 22, 1808 Williamsburg, Smith Co., TN Their children: James Madison Haggard, b. Oct. 11, 1809 Williamsburg, TN Lee Ann Ridley Haggard, b. Nov. 24, 1811 Williamsburg, TN Monroe B. Haggard, b. Nov. 20, 1814 Williamsburg, TN Eveline Elizabeth Haggard, b. May 14, 1818 Williamsburg, TN William Young Haggard, b. March 2, 1820 Sparta, White Co.TN Mary Jane Haggard, b. May 3, 1822 Sparta, White Co., TN 'She is a promising child' Please note: The majority of online family trees for this family list the mother as Judith Kindred...I believe that to be an error. I don't know if this Nathan Haggard lived in Jessamine Co., KY and married Judith in 1805. If he did, she was out of the picture in Smith Co. in 1808. I don't know when the family moved to Arkansas, but Lee Ann got married to John Anderson in 1829 in White Co., so I assume it must have been after 1829. other marriages Richard J. Mongomery -m- Mary Jane Haggard August 16, 1837 in Batesville, AR William Young Haggard -m- Margaret Ann Crump Oct. 20, 1840 in Edgehill, Jackson Co., AR deaths Lee Ann Ridley Haggard Anderson died May 25, 1880 Monroe B. Haggard died 1819 Mary Jane Haggard Montgomery died May 9, 1842 in Independence, Co. births for William and Margaret Haggard Parthenia Leeann Haggard July 9, 1842, Elizabeth, AR Robert Nathan Haggard Feb 6, 1844, Jackson Co., AR Dicy Young's parents were William Young and Elizabeth Holland. Dicy's sister married a Dr. Ridley, I we assume thats where Lee Ann got her middle name from. I don't have a death date for Dicy..., has anyone seen the grave of Nathan Haggard in Arkansas? She could be next to him.. Adam Matthews Notify Administrator about this message?
