My grandfather and his grandfather were Ben Haggard of North Dakota. I understand at least one relative of the family was in the confederate army and another in Shermans' march. So, I believe the family must've originated in TN, VA, KY at some point - anyone have relatives that moved North? I believe one family settleed in Iowa.
