Byron -- What is your connection to the HAGEWOOD family? There are 3 very distinct current groups of HAGEWOOds. The largest I am aware of are from Dickson/Cheatham/Montgomery Counties in TN They tracr back to NC, VA and England. There is also a large group in MO and another in LA. There is actually a town called Hagewood, LA. I have never found any connection between the 3 groups but there may be farther back. Statring in Francis HAWKWOOd. b County Gloucester, England cir 1620 the family spread out and has used the following names over the last 350 years: HAWKWOOD, HAGOOD, HAYGOOD, HOGWOOD, HAGWOOD, HAGEWOOD, HAGUEWOOD, etc. Let me know who you are looking for and I'll see if I can help. Jon
