Heagerty - Baltimore - and McAuliffe

My great-grandmother's brother, whose first name we don't know, was a McAuliffe who came to Baltimore from Cork, probably in the 1860s. His daughter (another unknown name) married Thomas A HEAGERTY, a fireman - and eventually a fire chief - whose brother, Aloysius K, was a vet. Thomas A had at least 3 daughters: Elizabeth, Mary and Ethel.

Does this family constellation look familiar to anybody researching McAuliffe in the Baltimore area? I'm very keen to find out the given name of Tom Heagerty's father-in-law, Mr McAuliffe.
