I am trying to find out more about this ancestor of mine. He was the son of Abram Hager Jr & Dolly Temple Keyes. His paternal grandparents were Abram Hager Sr. & Thankful Newton. His maternal grandparents were Israel Keyes and Dolly Temple. Anyway, I have put a lot of details in his findagrave memorial: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=80800969 Basically he married Almira C Rice in 1842, and had several children in West Boylston, Worcester, Mass. Then they moved to Illinois and had two more children. They then moved to Minnesota. Almira died in 1872, and Jonas remarried Louisa C. Groff in 1874. Jonas had two children by Louisa. Anyway, I haven't had any luck tracing down where most of his first family ended up. Mira, one of his daughters by Almira is buried in Clark, South Dakota. (Mira is my direct ancestor.) However, I have had no clue finding any of Mira's full brothers nor her sister Cornelius. I did find Jonas' second family, his father, and a sister Cornelia who died in infancy. I have also had no luck finding Jonas' mother's grave. I do know that she died on 2-Oct-1880 in St Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota. Her name at the time was Dolly Temple Brown. She had married Charles Brown in 1838 in West Boylston,Worcester, Mass. (Her first husband, Abram Hager Jr died in 1834.) Notify Administrator about this message?
