Alice Mae Hageman, age 97, of Eaton, Ohio, and formerly of Riverside, Calif., died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at The Greenbrier Nursing Center in Eaton. Born on Aug. 14, 1909, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Charlotte Forsythe Dietiker. Alice and her husband William resided and worked in Preble County prior to their move to Riverside in 1949. Alice was a bookkeeper for Hageman's Rehabilitation Equipment in Riverside and attended the United Methodist Church in Riverside, where she participated in the Christian Women's Club. She was an election poll worker in California for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, William W. Hageman in 1998; son, Fred Hageman in 1999; daughter, Leah H. Riggle in 2005; grandson, Thomas Riggle Jr. in 1982; six brothers and five sisters. She is survived by grandchildren, Renee (Ed) Miller, Linda (Len) Jones, Barbarie (Gerry) Gonzalez, Denise (Robert) Sorg and Alesha (Anthony) Holmes; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, from 10 a.m.-noon at the Nein-Barnes Funeral Home, 249 N. Main St., Camden, Ohio, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at the Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Ohio, with Rev. Wes Brubaker officiating.
